Workshop Vlinders Prepareren
Tijdens deze workshop leer je stap voor stap hoe je vlinders prepareert en opzet. Onder begeleiding maak je kennis met de basistechnieken van het entomologisch prepareren en ga je zelf aan de slag met echte vlinders.
De workshop is geschikt voor zowel beginners als liefhebbers van natuur en decoratieve preparaten. Er is geen voorkennis vereist en alle materialen worden voorzien.
Inbegrepen in de workshop
Voor €75 per persoon ontvang je:
🦋 1 grote vlinder, keuze uit onder andere:
- Papilio lycophron
- Papilio thoas
- Anteos menippe
- Papilio dardanus
🦋🦋 2 kleinere vlinders, bijvoorbeeld:
- Appias nero
- Prioneris philonome
- Euploea radamanthus
- Diverse Charaxinae-soorten
In totaal prepareer je dus 3 vlinders: 1 grote en 2 kleinere exemplaren.

- Maximum: 4 deelnemers per workshop
- Van 14:00 tem +- 17:00u. Hou er rekening mee dat het einduur eerder een richtlijn is.
- Kinderen welkom onder begeleiding
- Beschikbaar in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans
- Alle benodigde materialen zijn inbegrepen
- De workshop gaat door bij ons in Keerbergen, u ontvangt een e-mail met het exacte adres bij aanmelding
Na de workshop
Na afloop neem je jouw drie geprepareerde vlinders mee naar huis op een preparatiebord. Zodra de vlinders volledig gedroogd zijn, kunnen ze worden ingekaderd of op een andere manier gepresenteerd. Kaders zijn na de workshop afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar, maar zijn niet inbegrepen in de workshopprijs.
Een toegankelijke workshop voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in natuur, taxidermie en decoratieve insecten.
Butterfly Mounting Workshop
In this workshop, you will learn step by step how to prepare and mount butterflies. Under expert guidance, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of entomological preparation and work hands-on with real butterflies.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and nature enthusiasts interested in decorative specimens. No prior knowledge is required and all materials are provided.
Included in the workshop
For €75 per person you will receive:
🦋 1 large butterfly, choice from among others:
- Papilio lycophron
- Papilio thoas
- Anteos menippe
- Papilio dardanus
🦋🦋 2 smaller butterflies, for example:
- Appias nero
- Prioneris philonome
- Euploea radamanthus
- Various Charaxinae species
In total you will prepare 3 butterflies: 1 large and 2 smaller specimens.

After the workshop
At the end of the session, you take your three mounted butterflies home on a spreading board. Once fully dried, they can be framed or displayed in any other way. Frames are available separately after the workshop but are not included in the workshop price.
